The two teams fought out two titanic matches last season and Redpath is expecting nothing different this time around.
"It's a massive game to kick things off. Bath were one of the form teams, if not the form team in the Guinness Premiership last season. They played expansive rugby and competed well on all fronts."
"It'll be a great occasion at Kingsholm for both sets of supporters. It's bound to be a tough one, games between Gloucester and Bath always are and especially the two meetings last season, but I'm really looking forward to it."
"Now that we've got the draft fixtures through we've got something to focus on. Absolutely everything we do from here on in, from fitness training through to the preseason friendlies will be geared towards that first game against Bath and the subsequent matches."
The first fixture is obviously a huge one but London Irish at the Madesjki is the second game up and Redpath acknowledges that every team poses a challenge.
"One thing that is apparent from the fixture list is that there are no easy games at all. It was the same last season and even more so this time around."
"The Guinness Premiership is an incredibly strong competion, from team one to twelve. People will be looking at Leeds as the weak link but they won't be anybody's pushover."
"They've been up before and gone straight back down and won't want to go through that again. They've got good leadership and they're recruiting well."
