Over 30 volunteers help to operate the turnstiles, a role which includes checking the validity of every match ticket before entry is allowed into the ground.

The Pied Piper Appeal raises money in order to make a difference for sick children in the County by providing child friendly equipment to aid their recovery.

They do this through their various fundraising activities as well as a regular annual contribution from Gloucester Rugby.

To date over the past six years, in association with Gloucester Rugby, £73,454 has been raised for Pied Piper which excludes income for the 2008-9 season which is expected to be in the region of £10,000.
