It's fair to say that the golf was of a varying standard! The Converge Networks team, who played alongside new Gloucester Rugby signing Nicky Robinson, were declared the overall winners although they were pushed hard by the Butler Silcock team who featured Head Coach Bryan Redpath.
At the other end of the spectrum, JS Security brought up the rear, largely due to at least four balls disappearing into the lake on the 17th!. They were partnered by Italian international Marco Bortolami who suffered the additional indignity of being voted the worst Gloucester Rugby golfer on the day!
The evening featured a two course dinner and a raffle which raised funds for our nominated charity, The Pied Piper.

There were some fantastic prizes up for grabs including the use of a BMW Z4 for the weekend, the use of a Jaguar XS for the weekend and dinner for 2 at the Hollow Bottom.
There was also an auction with the available lots including an opportunity to have your photo taken with the 2009-10 Gloucester Rugby team at the official team photo day a new limited edition framed Jack Russell print and a weekend's racing for 2 at Cheltenham.
Speaking to http://www.gloucesterrugby.co.uk/, Clare Reader admitted that it had been a long day but a hugely worthwhile one.
"It's been a great occasion and we even had a helping hand with the weather with the rain staying away for the most part."
"Everyone's had a great day out and we've managed to raise a lot of money for the Pied Piper appeal which is fantastic news."

"I'd like to thank Brickhampton Golf Course for accommodating us, everyone who donated auction and raffle prizes, Nick Broady from Pied Piper who helped to organise the day and acted as Master of Ceremonies during the evening and, of course, Bryan and the first team squad who gave up their time today and were great value on the day."
