He was presented with his award by Guy Hopson of Harrison Clark who were the 1873 Match Sponsor for the day.
Nick was playing only his second game back after a foot injury and and helped to set the tone for the evening with his powerful scrummaging and strong work in attack and defence.
Nick was then joined by his team mates Paul Doran-Jones and Dave Lewis and took part in an informal Q&A hosted by Gloucester Rugby's Commercial Manager, Pete Grzonka.
All three players admitted that they were grateful to get back to winning ways after a tough game against the Tigers and that the support of the Gloucester crowd had been a huge factor on the night.
Paul also received warm applause for winning his first England cap the weekend before.
