The 'Audience with...' evening was a great success as the players past and present brought their memories to life with a frank Q&A session led by BBC Radio Gloucestershire. The event highlighted the history of the club but the resounding feeling about the club towards to end of the evening was a feeling of pride, honour and above all community.

The players told the audience about their routes into rugby and re-lived their childhood dreams. What was evident however was the overwhelming sense of pride of playing for Gloucester and the fact that they felt at home at Kingsholm. As the players shared their stories with the audience those present were able to join in from a totally new perspective and were given an insight into the way things have changed in the game from the amateur days through to the professional era. The players talked about International games or lack of, banter amongst the squad and more importantly the honour with which is bestowed upon any player representing Gloucester Rugby.
The evening provided a great opportunity for supporters and players alike to show their support for the Gloucester Rugby Heritage Project, for more information please contact the Community Department on 01452 872286.
