The Welsh born music legend is well known for his classic hits and recent repertoire and will be making his latest offering with a new album in May 2012. Compiling a performance of hits old and new, this show is not to be missed.
Gloucester Rugby are honoured to be welcoming Sir Tom Jones to Kingsholm for what is anticipated to be a great performance and evening of live music.
Sir Tom Jones has had many successes in his 44 year career, with highlights including receiving a BRIT Award for Outstanding Contribution to Music, a Silver Clef Award for Lifetime Achievement, in
2009 the "Hitmaker" award from the US Songwriters Hall of Fame, and in 2010 the prestigious (UK) Music Industry Trust Award.
And with no sign of him slowing down, this Spring will see him take a new direction coaching fresh talent on the BBC's new flagship show 'The Voice'.
Ken Nottage, Gloucester Rugby's Managing Director spoke of his delight at confirming Tom Jones as the second major music artist to perform at Kingsholm Stadium:
"It is a great privilege for the club to have secured such an iconic music legend as Tom Jones, to perform live at Kingsholm.
"Following on from last year's success with The Wanted, we set out to secure an artist that would appeal to a wider demographic, and Tom Jones certainly appeals to young and old, male and female, mainstream and cutting edge."
