It's an important operation given the lack of parking in and around Kingsholm Stadium on matchdays.
However, there were complaints received after the Bath game and Keith Thomas, the Managing Director of Swanbrook Transport Ltd sent the following message:
"We are aware that some supporters were affected by some operational difficulties we experienced with the Barnwood Park & Ride Bus service prior to last Saturday's Bath game.
"We encountered some problems that resulted in no service departures from Barnwood between approximately 13:00 and 13:35hrs which, of course, we acknowledge was a critical time for supporters wishing to use the service.
"We wish to convey our apologies via Gloucester Rugby website for the inconvenience caused to affected supporters on this occasion.
"Regular service users will acknowledge this was and we hope will in the future be an isolated operational problem we experienced.
"However, we would still appreciate supporters' patience with the ongoing operational difficulties we will continue to experience with the closure of Kingsholm Road that will, on occasion, continue to disrupt the service."
