The presentation was made on the Kingsholm pitch immediately following the game, and Robson was understandably proud to have got been recognised by the club's fans in this way.
"I'm delighted because it's a supporters' award, and their opinion means a lot to me.
"I've really enjoyed breaking through and playing a lot of rugby, and it's nice to know the fans are enjoying it as well. So it does mean a lot to me, and I'm very proud to receive it."
And, of course, the fact that it came immediately after such a big win was the icing on the cake.
"This result does a huge amount for us, not just the result but the performance. We stepped it up ten notches from Sale.
"We knew we were poor up there, but we still knew we had a lot more to give, and that was the biggest disappointment.
"So, after a big week, we were just all really happy to be able to put in a performance like that.
"It was a great game to play in, I've heard it was similar to watch, and the atmosphere was incredible, as usual here.
"The last home game of the season with a few boys leaving it just gave it that extra little notch."
