Earlier this week, Tony Spreadbury agreed to referee the game and James Simpson-Daniel has volunteered to assist him as a touch judge.
The Funday is another event organised by Alex's Testimonial Committee and is set to take at Hartpury College on Saturday June 29th.
The day will kick off with the opportunity to watch the second test between the British and Irish Lions and the Qantas Wallabies on a big screen in the Hartpury Rugby club house at 11am.
There will be plenty to eat and drink in the form of a hog roast, real ales and cider.
U9s and U13s touch rugby competitions will also be taking place and there will be the chance to tour Gloucester Rugby's training facility, guided by some member of the Gloucester first team squad.
However, the big game of the day, which should kick off at around 2pm, will be the keenly anticipated showdown between the Gloucester and Bristol Legends.
After the game, there will be a live band and an auction of various pieces of memorabilia.
It promises to be a great day of rugby. The event will raise funds for Pied Piper and Restart (The Rugby Players' Association) with a suggested entry donation of £5.
