11 Gloucester-Hartpury players called up to the Wales Women’s Six Nations squad

10 Gloucester-Hartpury players have been named in the Wales Women’s squad for the upcoming Women’s Six Nations.

Lleucu George, Hannah Jones, Kerin Lake, Lisa Neumann, Gwen Crabb, Cara Hope, Cerys Hale, Kelsey Jones, Bethan Lewis, Robyn Wilkins and Sisilia Tuipulotu have all been called up to Ioan Cunningham’s 37 player squad.

Gloucester-Hartpury have six players on retainer contracts with the WRU with Lleucu George and Sisilia Tuipulotu recently joining Gwen Crabb, Cery Hale, Bethan Lewis and Kerin Lake with deals with the nation.

Hannah Jones also has a professional contract with the WRU.  

Lleucu George is delighted to have been given a contract. 

“It’s amazing, I really wasn’t really expecting it. I’m thrilled to have this opportunity to have more contact time with the other players and coaches developing my game at this level.

“Rugby is what I’ve always wanted to do. I fell in love with it straight away, you always want to play at highest possible standard so I’m really happy I’ve got this opportunity.”
