100 up for Ludlow as Gloucester Rugby name unchanged starting line-up to face Wasps
Lewis Ludlow will make his 100th competitive appearance for Gloucester Rugby in Saturday’s Gallagher Premiership fixture at home to Wasps (kick off 3pm), the Cherry and Whites naming an unchanged starting line-up.

Ludlow made his debut in the 2013-14 season, and has gone on to become a regular in the Gloucester Rugby back row skippering the team in both the Premiership Rugby Cup and Heineken Champions Cup last season.

The Cherry and Whites keep faith with the side that started at the AJ Bell Stadium last Saturday, with the only changes to the matchday squad amongst the replacements.

Jake Polledri and Callum Braley are both included having returned from Rugby World Cup duty with Italy, while Ben Morgan is named in the matchday squad for the first time this season.

Head Coach Johan Ackermann knows that his team will have to take things up a notch against a talented Wasps team.

“We’re excited to play our first home game in the league, but we also know that Wasps have a team full of All Blacks and international stars. Therefore, we have to be at our best, better than we were last weekend.

“We’re just going to take it game by game, and we’re really looking forward to the challenge. I trust that the players will be better than last week and we’ve been working on fixing a number of individual things from last weekend.

“But, we’re just very excited to be back in front of our own fans at Kingsholm.”
