2021-22 Home and Away Replica shirts sell in record numbers

The recently launched Home and Away Replica shirt for the 2021-22 season has seen record sales since the launch earlier this year.

Proudly featuring new Main Partner BiGDUG, the sales of the home shirt are up 69% from the 2020-21 season, and the away shirt sales have increased by 40% too.

Lee Jenkinson, CEO of Gloucester Rugby’s kit supplier Elite Pro Sports said; “We are delighted that both shirts have gone down so well with the supporters this season.

"Whilst we were confident the traditional Cherry & White hoops would be popular with the Gloucester Rugby fans, the sales for the Away Shirt have been really encouraging too, and far surpassed our expectations.

"The support from BiGDUG, with the free t-shirt with every purchase was fantastic and no doubt has played a big part in the increase in sales.”

Alex Brown, Gloucester Rugby’s Chief Operating Officer said; “It’s really encouraging to see such fantastic sales for both of our replica shirts this season.

"With our new training facility being in the heart of Gloucester, it doesn’t go unnoticed to see so many supporters in the shirts, both on match day and in the week. This emphasises to the players and coaching staff just how important Gloucester Rugby is to the City and the local community.

"BiGDUG have been fantastic since coming on board as Main Club Partner in July, and their generous donation of a free t-shirt with every Away Shirt sale has been well received by supporters.”
