2022/23 Season Launch Event | What's on

We can't wait to welcome you back to Kingsholm tomorrow afternoon for our 2022/23 season launch event. We have fun for all the family, live music and of course - a very special shirt to reveal. Here's everything you need to know ahead of your trip back Holm.

What time can I get to Kingsholm Stadium?

Access to the stadium will be available through Gate 1 - next to the Fan Zone from 12pm.

Car parking at Kingsholm Stadium will be limited and will be allocated on a first come first served basis from 11.30am.

Please note that tomorrow's event is unreserved seating. Although your ticket will have a seat number allocated, please feel free to sit anywhere in the Malvern Tyres Stand.

What's happening in the Fan Zone?

Our main partners, BiGDUG have brought their BiGChill-Out to Kingsholm so you can sit back, relax and be in with a chance of winning a 2022/23 home replica shirt.

The BBQ Society will be dishing up the best burgers alongside our event partner, Freemans, and the famous Lions Den is open for you to enjoy drinks from an iconic part of the stadium.

Acoustic singer, Marcello, will be providing the tunes throughout the afternoon while kids can test their rugby skills with inflatable games hosted by the Community team.

And of course, you can stock up on this season's training gear - as well as the new shirt after the reveal - from the club shop by Gate 2 and in the cabin in the Fan Zone.

What time is training and the shirt reveal?

Hosted by David 'Flats' Flatman and Natasha 'Mo' Hunt, opening training will run from 12.40pm until 2pm.

This session will round up the fourth week of pre-season training, just before the players depart for their well deserved week off - so it promises to be a tough session!

Flats and Mo will be speaking to players and coaches during the session,  giving you great insight into what goes on behind the scenes.

At 2.30pm we'll go LIVE on Facebook and YouTube, ready to reveal the 2022/23 home shirt  - as voted for by you, the fans!

We'll chat to players from both Gloucester-Hartpury and Gloucester Rugby, as well as Ed Slater ahead of the 4Ed Cycle challenge, and they'll be a chance for you to compete with players to win a 2022/23 home replica shirt!

Slater 4

Following Ed Slaters's diagnosis with MND, and subsequent retirement from professional rugby, Gloucester Rugby supporters will be able to contribute to the fundraising efforts when buying a 2022/23 shirt with SLATER 4 on the back.

Thanks to our official kit providers, Elite Pro Sports, supporters who have SLATER 4 printed on the back of the 2022/23 shirt will pay an additional £10, reduced from £15. EPS will then donate the £5 from every shirt printing directly to the 4Ed fundraising campaign.

Those attending the launch event are able to opt for SLATER 4 on the back of their new shirt at the stadium club shop. Please be aware, the printing time of each shirt will be dictated by the numbers of fans who wish to get their shirt printed.

To avoid delay, the shirt can be ordered and printed online shirt printing will be available from the Quays shop from Saturday 6 August , this shirt printing offer is valid on all shirts purchased throughout August.

*Please note, this is only available on 22/23 Replica Shirts

I can't make the event, can I still join in?

Yes, we will be live on Facebook and YouTube from 2.15pm talking all things Gloucester Rugby and Gloucester-Hartpury.
