Exciting scrum-half Charlie Chapman has become the latest player to commit his future to Gloucester Rugby.
Chapman, 23, is another product of the Gloucester Rugby Academy, and has already made 25 appearances in Cherry & White.
Born and raised in Gloucester, the livewire scrum-half made his first Premiership start against London Irish in the 2019-20 season, and has since gone on to be an integral part of George Skivington’s squad.
Chief Operating Officer Alex Brown is delighted to see another Academy graduate commit to a new deal at Kingsholm.
“I think it goes without saying that Charlie has shown great maturity in his performances over the last few weeks and is growing game by game.
“We’re fortunate to have a number of talented young scrum-halves at the Club who continue to drive each other on.
“We’ve made it very clear that we want players from Gloucester representing Gloucester Rugby, and Charlie is one of those players that is determined for success with his hometown Club. We are excited to watch him continue to grow and prosper in Cherry & White.”
