George Skivington has made five changes to the starting line up that narrowly lost to Harlequins last time out with Santiago Carreras, Mark Atkinson, Jonny May, Charlie Chapman and Alex Seville all coming into the starting 15.

Ed Slater returns to the matchday 23 for the first time in the Premiership since Round 2 after a run out in the Premiership Cup against Worcester last week.

Lloyd Evans retains the 15 shirt with Santiago Carreras and Jonny May coming in to start on the wings. Mark Atkinson is back in at 12 and will partner Chris Harris in the centre. Charlie Chapman is given his first start since the Premiership Rugby Cup game against Bath and will link up with Adam Hastings who is named at 10.

Alex Seville is set for his appearance of the season and will partner Jack Singleton and Fraser Balmain in the front row. Freddie Clarke and Matias Alemanno continue their partnership at lock with Jordy Reid, Ruan Ackermann and captain Lewis Ludlow making up the backrow.

Santiago Socino, Ciaran Knight, Kirill Gotovtsev, Ed Slater and Jack Clement cover the forwards on the bench with Ben Meehan, Billy Twelvetrees and Louis Rees-Zammit named as back replacements.

Attack coach Alex King is looking forward to the game.

“Their record speaks for itself. It’s a tough place to go but we’re incredibly excited for the challenge that presents itself. We know all about them but for us it’s all about focusing on our development and our learning. We want to get better and better and Saracens away is another test of where we are halfway through the season.

“We know what they bring and we know what their strengths are. They’re a good team. We aspire to be where they are and where they’ve put their foundations in over the last 10 years. The boys have worked incredibly hard and are excited for the challenge that presents itself.”
