George Skivington has named his side for Gloucester Rugby’s Gallagher Premiership clash against London Irish.
The Cherry and Whites are without five international players with Kirill Gotovtsev, Mark Atkinson, Chris Harris, Louis Rees-Zammit and Stephen Varney all away with their nations.
Skivington has made two changes in the pack with Jack Clement and Matias Alemanno coming in to the starting line up.
The front row is unchanged from the win over Newcastle with Val Rapava-Ruskin, Jack Singleton and Fraser Balmain packing down along with Freddie Clarke, Ruan Ackermann and captain Lewis Ludlow.
In the backs, Kyle Moyle comes in at fullback with Ollie Thorley and Santiago Carreras on the wings. Giorgi Kveseladze starts at 13 and partners Billy Twelvetrees in the midfield.
Lloyd Evans is handed the starting 10 shirt and will line up alongside fellow Academy graduate Charlie Chapman at halfback.
There is an exciting list of replacements with Santiago Socino, Harry Elrington, Jamal Ford-Robinson, Andrew Davidson and Alex Craig covering the forwards. Ben Meehan, Adam Hastings and Tom Seabrook are named as back replacements.
George Skivington is looking forward to the fixture.
“London Irish are playing really well. They score a lot of tries and they’ve got a really strong attacking game. Their defence is very good and they are very physical. They’ve got a lot of international caps and they have a star-studded squad. We’re very aware of what’s coming. They played well against Exeter and we know that it’s going to be a massive challenge for us.”
