Gloucester-Hartpury name team for Tyrrells Premier 15 return against Harlequins Women
After a three week hiatus, the Tyrrells Premier 15s returns this weekend and Gloucester-Hartpury Women welcome Harlequins Women to the Alpas Arena.

Harlequins Women come into the game as league leaders, having tasted defeat only once so far this season. The previous meeting between the two sides, back at the Stoop at the beginning of October, saw Quins prevail by 39 points to 12.

It’s new Head Coach Sean Lynn’s first game in charge, and he is unable to call upon the likes of Lleucu George, Cerys Hale, Kelsey Jones, Bethan Lewis and Shona Powell-Hughes due to a Wales training camp preparing for the Six Nations. Similarly, Ellen Murphy is away with Ireland.

However, he is still able to name five England internationals in the back line, four full internationals in his pack and two more internationals amongst the replacements.

Lynn confirmed that it’s been a good week in training and everyone is raring to go.

“I’ve been buzzing following our sessions this week, working with a really good group of players. To get that win at Wasps just before Christmas to take us into fourth place was brilliant and we’re excited about Saturday.

“We’ve analysed Harlequins, I watched their game against Leinster at Twickenham, and we know it’s going to be a really physical encounter and that’s something we’re prepared for. I think it’ll come down to small errors and the team who make fewer will come out on top.”
