Gloucester-Hartpury sign Irish international Neve Jones

Gloucester-Hartpury are delighted to announce that Irish international hooker Neve Jones has signed for the Cherry and Whites from Malone RFC & Ulster.

Jones was Malone's top try-scorer in 2019 and the winner of the 2020 Energia Women's All Ireland League Rising Star Award. Her career continued to move rapidly in an upward direction, with the Hooker going on to make six caps for Ireland so far, starting in the recent win over Japan.

The 23-year-old has joined the club with immediate effect and is named on the bench for Gloucester-Hartpury’s first game of 2022 against Bristol Bears on Saturday.

Head coach Sean Lynn is delighted to have Neve sign with the club.

"We are very pleased to sign Neve Jones. Her work rate around the park is outstanding and I’ve been very impressed with her willingness to learn. She is a great addition to our squad."

Welcome to Gloucester-Hartpury, Neve!
