Gloucester-Hartpury Women name team for away game at Wasps Ladies
It’s the final Tyrrells Premier 15s fixture of 2019 for Gloucester-Hartpury Women and they’ll be looking to get back to winning ways and end the year on a positive note as they travel to take on Wasps Ladies.

Head Coach Susie Appleby makes several changes to the starting line-up as Gloucester-Hartpury look to bounce back after last week’s defeat at home to Loughborough Lightning.

There is just one change in the back line where one England international, Millie Wood, replaces another in Rachel Lund.

Up front, Kathryn Buggy comes in for El Perry and Erica Mills returns in the second row in place of Gurpreet Dhaliwal who moves to the blindside flank. Also returning to the starting XV is Wales international Sian Williams.

Appleby admits that Saturday’s game will be a test, but that the team have responded well in training this week.

“We were disappointed with our second half performance last week, after a really good first 40 minutes. We’ve had a solid training week and put some things right and are excited to get out there on Saturday for one last effort in 2019.

“Wasps are an excellent side and it’s going to be a good test for us to see if we can show resilience and bounce back from defeat. We are all very much looking forward to it.”
