Gloucester Rugby is delighted to confirm a new partnership with Laithwaites, the UK’s leading home delivery wine retailer.
Following the generous donation that Laithwaites made last month towards our upgraded pitch and training facilities, we are now delighted to welcome them as an official partner ahead of the 2021-22 season. With a distribution centre based in Gloucester, Laithwaites recognise the value of the Gloucester Rugby’s work in the local community.
The partnership will see Laithwaites branding feature on the right sleeve of the Gloucester Rugby home, away and European shirts, as well as on the signage of the world-famous ‘Shed’.
Lance Bradley, Chief Executive Officer at Gloucester Rugby said,
“We’re pleased to welcome Laithwaites as our latest partner. They are an organisation that are completely aligned with our vision on the importance of the inspiring and contributing to our local community. Their generous donation to our training facilities last month ensures that we are able to reinforce our commitment to local grass roots sports and our community.
“We’re excited to see how this partnership progresses, and to welcome them to Kingsholm during the next season.”
Laithwaites Marketing Director, Rupert Elwood added,
“We are delighted to be officially partnering with Gloucester Rugby following on from our donation towards the training ground earlier this summer.
“Rugby is at the heart of our community, especially in Gloucester. We are really excited about aligning ourselves with the Club and look forward to a positive and effective relationship, both for us as partners, but also for the wider community.”
