Gloucester Rugby is delighted to confirm that Laithwaites, the UK’s leading home delivery wine retailer, will continue to partner with the Cherry & Whites for the 2022/23 season.
The extension of the relationship will see Laithwaites feature prominently on the rear of all versions of the Gloucester Rugby kit.
In an exciting new initiative, the partnership will also support the development of the Gloucester-Hartpury women’s team, with the same prominent position on their kit.
The UK’s no.1 home delivery wine merchant have based their fulfilment centre in Gloucester, which is home to their call centre, distribution centre and wine shop, and is staffed with over 500 employees.
The fulfilment centre continues to receive quality wines from a wide range of wine producers from around the world. Despite its global connections Laithwaites, like the rugby club, are embedded in the local community.
James Morrison, Head of Brand at Laithwaites, can’t wait to continue the relationship with Gloucester Rugby.
“We have thoroughly enjoyed working with Gloucester Rugby and it made a lot of sense for us to continue the good work we have been doing together.
“Last year was a great success and all of us at Laithwaites can’t wait to see what this upcoming season will hold.”
Gloucester Rugby CEO Lance Bradley welcomed the announcement, saying:
“Laithwaites are a fantastic local company; we have enjoyed building a relationship with them over the past season and on behalf of the entire club, we’re grateful for their continued support.”
The 2022/23 Gloucester Rugby home shirt will be unveiled on Friday 5 August, live on the club’s Facebook and YouTube channel from 2pm.
