Team news
Gloucester Rugby host Saracens in the last regular fixture of the season and George Skivington has made three changes to the starting line up that played Harlequins last time out with Ben Meehan, Jack Singleton and Jordy Reid all retuning to the starting team.
Having just signed a new contract, Santiago Carreras starts at fullback with Louis Rees-Zammit and Ollie Thorley on the wings. Chris Harris, also signing on with the Cherry and Whites this week, starts in the midfield alongside Giorgi Kveseladze who lines up at inside centre. Adam Hastings keeps the 10 shirt with Ben Meehan coming in at scrum-half.
In the forwards, Val Rapava-Ruskin and Kirill Gotovtsev start as the two props with Jack Singleton at hooker. Freddie Clarke and Matias Alemanno start at lock with Jordy Reid, Ruan Ackermann and captain Lewis Ludlow making up the backrow.
Jonny May is named on the replacements bench and is set for his first appearance since Saracens away after returning from injury.
George Skivington is looking forward to the fixture.
“We expect a very good team to come here on Saturday. They were very good a few weeks ago when they came here and we’ve played them both home and away already so we know each other well.
“Sarries are an extremely well-oiled machine. A very good team with some world class players in there. We know it’ll be extremely tough and we experienced that a couple of weeks ago.
“We’ve just got to prepare the best way we can and get ourselves in the best position to perform at our best. We’ll see how it goes on Saturday.”
