The return fixture was equally as tasty, with Gloucester Rugby securing a home quarter-final with a 29-21 victory.
The Cherry & Whites will also take on Lyon for the first time in the Heineken Champions Cup. Le Lou, as they are traditionally known, finished 2nd in the abandoned 2019-20 Top 14 season, play their rugby at the Matmut Stadium de Gerland.
Europe’s top-tier competition takes on a different format for next season only, with each side being assigned a ‘Tier’ ranking based on final positions in the domestic competitions.
Gloucester Rugby who are in Tier 4 will take on the two Tier 1 sides in their pool that do not play in the same domestic league.
