Gloucester Rugby U18s fall short against Bath

Gloucester Rugby U18s faced Bath Rugby U18s at Kingsholm on Saturday afternoon. Despite a 31-12 loss, playing in front of family and friends at the heart of Gloucester Rugby was a fantastic experience for the young players.

Bath got ahead on the scoreboard early due to inaccuracies from the young Cherry & Whites side and the home side couldn't quite get the momentum to swing back in their favour, despite a close half time score of 12-19.

There are lots of positives and learning opportunities from this game and other fixtures in the Academy League that will help Gloucester Rugby as they face Yorkshire Academy next Sunday at the Finals Day at Sixways Stadium.

U18s Head Coach, Matt Teague, is looking forward to putting the lessons learnt into practice this week at training:

"We're incredibly excited to put that learning into practice this week as we'll be training against Sean Lynn's impressive Gloucester-Hartpury Womens team at Kingsholm with some unit and game development".
