Gloucester Rugby’s Autumn International call ups

Gloucester Rugby have eight players called up for this weekend’s Autumn international fixtures. 


Jonny May will start on the wing for England as Eddie Jones’ side host Australia on Saturday at Twickenham.

Jonny scored two tries in England’s 69-3 victory over Tonga last weekend and will hope for another good performance in Round 2 of the Autumn Nations Series.


Louis Rees-Zammit has been named on the wing for Wales at they host Fiji at the Principality Stadium.

After a narrow 23-18 loss to South Africa last weekend, Wayne Pivac’s side will be hoping to get their first win of the Autumn campaign.


Chris Harris will start at outside centre with Adam Hastings named on the bench as Scotland host World Champions South Africa at Murrayfield.


Stephen Varney will play scrum-half for Italy as they host Argentina on Saturday and will go head to head against Gloucester Rugby teammate Santiago Carreras.


Santiago Carreras is given another start at fly-half for Argentina after impressing in last weekend’s 29-20 loss to France as his nation play Italy.

Georgia + Russia + Namibia 

Giorgi Kveseladze, Kirill Gotovtsev and Wian Conradie are all away with their respective nations and will hope to be in contention for their nations as Georgia play France, Russia face Spain and Namibia playing Kenya.  



Zoe Aldcroft will start in the second row as the Red Roses play Canada at the Twickenham Stoop on Sunday at 2:30pm.
