Chris Harris will start for Scotland against France while Willi Heinz is named amongst the replacements for England as they take on Ireland at Twickenham in this weekend’s Rugby World Cup warm-up tests.
Harris comes into the Scotland midfield as only Stuart Hogg retains his place in the starting line-up following last weekend’s 32-3 reverse against the same opposition in Nice. Former Gloucester Rugby scrum-half Greig Laidlaw will skipper the side.
Meanwhile, having started England’s first two warm-up tests, both against Wales, Heinz is named as a replacement as Eddie Jones makes several changes to his starting line-up to take on Ireland.
Gloucester Rugby’s other World Cup hopes – Callum Braley, Franco Mostert and Jake Polledri – have a weekend off with Italy and South Africa not in action.
Scotland vs France kicks off at 1:10pm on Saturday, while England vs Ireland kicks off at 3pm.
