Henry Trinder to make playing comeback in Shield game on Monday evening
Gloucester Rugby United travel to Franklin’s Gardens to take on Northampton Wanderers in the Premiership Rugby Shield on Monday evening. Henry Trinder is set to make his first appearance of the season having recovered from an achilles injury.

Trinder along with Tom Hudson, provides the majority of the first team experience on the night although the rest of the backs – Reece Dunn, Tom Seabrook, Jake Morris, George Barton and Charlie Chapman - have all seen first team action this season and featured in last month’s Shield victory over Leicester Tigers.

The pack is very similar to the one that faced the Tigers, with Joe Howard the only new face as he comes in for Aaron Hinkley who featured against Connacht Rugby on Saturday and who is named amongst the replacements.

Kick off at Franklin’s Gardens is at 7:30pm.
