The Cherry and Whites’ international representation was at the highest level last weekend with Chris Harris starting for the British and Irish Lions and Natasha Mo Hunt competing at the Olympic games.

Starting at 13 for the second test, Chris Harris had a solid game for the British and Irish Lions, but South Africa showed why they are reigning world champions and took the 27-9 win to draw the series level going into the final game.
Harris was dominant in defence and also put pace on the ball in attack and will hope to have done enough to be involved for the final and deciding test this Saturday.
Natasha Mo Hunt starred in Team GB’s Olympic bid in the sevens but unfortunately couldn’t improve on their result from Rio five years ago and came away with a 4th place finish.
Having lost the semi-final to France, Team GB then lost the bronze medal play off against a talented Fiji side 21-12.
Mo had a great Olympic games and did us all proud as she represented her nation on the highest level.
