International Round Up

Gloucester Rugby had four players representing the Club at an international level over the weekend with Chris Harris, Adam Hastings, Louis Rees-Zammit and Giorgi Kveseladze all playing for their countries.

Scotland

Chris Harris scored two tries as Scotland beat Italy 33-22 in Rome. For the first try, Scotland made an intercept in their own 22 and Harris was there to collect the chip to go over to score.

For the second, Harris received the ball off the back of a 5m scrum and cut a clever angle to crash over for his second try before half time.

Adam Hastings came on off the bench to help see out the win.

Wales

Louis Rees-Zammit made an immediate impact when he came on off the bench at the Principality Stadium on Friday night.

Wales lost 13-9 but Rees-Zammit made a good break and made a big choke tackle and should be pleased with his individual contribution.

Georgia

Georgia beat Romania 26-23 in the Rugby Europe Championship with Giorgi Kveseladze starting at 13 for his country in the victory.

Georgia have qualified for the 2023 Rugby World Cup.
