On playing at Kingsholm
“I’m massively excited. It will hopefully be a full crowd and Friday nights are always brilliant at Kingsholm. It’s the first time we’ll have a big crowd here for a while so it’s massively exciting.
“Preparations have been good. Obviously, the boys were pretty low at the start of the week and pretty disappointed in some of the areas against Northampton. But then it changes to getting the positives out of the game, there were a lot of good things that we did and then building into what will be a massive challenge against Leicester.
“It’s building the excitement levels over the week.”
On Leicester Tigers
“They’re being talked about a lot at the moment, and they had a good bit of form in their first game so it’s a massive challenge. We’ve talked a lot in the week about how we’re going to combat that and the mindset we’re going to go into the game with. We’re all pretty excited about it."
On training at Kingsholm
“It’s been a really nice change. We have the consistency of training on the pitch and we get that consistency going into the games and just having it here is brilliant. Throughout the week you get a bit more of the buzz from being in the city and it’s been a really nice change so far."
On fans returning under the lights
“It’s going to be awesome. It’s what it’s all about. That buzz at Kingsholm on a Friday night, there’s nothing like it. The Shed is going to be brilliant and yeah, it’s exciting.”
