Gloucester Rugby supporters have voted winger Louis Rees-Zammit as the 2019-20 Young Player of the Season.
Rees-Zammit, 19, enjoyed a free scoring season scoring 10 tries in the Gallagher Premiership and 3 tries in the Heineken Champions Cup pool stage.
The flying Welshman, made his debut for Gloucester Rugby towards the end of the 2018-19 campaign, before enjoying a full-breakthrough season this time round. Rees-Zammit has picked up numerous achievements so far in his career including becoming Gloucester Rugby’s youngest ever Premiership player, our youngest ever player in a European match, and the youngest player ever to score a hat-trick in the Premiership.
To top off a fine season, Louis made his debut for the Welsh national team in France last weekend.
