Match Preview – Gloucester Rugby v Sale Sharks
The Cherry and Whites are on home soil for the final time in 2018 this weekend, with Sale Sharks the visitors to Kingsholm Stadium in Round 11 of the Gallagher Premiership, in front of a bumper festive crowd (KO 3pm)

After getting back to winning ways on the road in the North East last weekend, the Cherry and Whites will be keen to end the year on a winning note, looking to secure their spot in the Top Four at the turn of the year.

Here are some players to keep an eye on this weekend.

Jaco Kriel

The Springbok back rower returns to the starting line-up this week in what will be a fascinating battle of the back rows at Kingsholm. A speedy runner, who will be look to disrupt the ball on the floor, and get space to run in the open spaces.

Faf de Klerk

The World Player of the Year nominee is a livewire in everything that he does, and will be a huge influence in the way the Sharks play this weekend. Full of speed, physicality and speedy service, he will look to link up the forward pack with the experience and danger in the Sharks’ backline.

Sale Sharks 27-10 Bristol Bears
