Gloucester Rugby Community Charity are still looking for runners to join our team! Partnering with Cheltenham Half Marathon for the second year, we aim to encourage people to get up and get active.

We will provide a professional and fully qualified coach to train and support you. Whether you’re an ultrarunner or a coach potato, this is a great challenge for anyone.

The Still Moving Cheltenham Half Marathon is set in the heart of this beautiful regency town and has been designed to show off its splendour and Cotswold charm. Now moving into its seventh year, this popular half marathon has grown in size and is now hosted at the famous Cheltenham Racecourse.

As part of the Gloucester Rugby Community Charity team you will get:

  • Entry into the Cheltenham Half marathon

  • A Gloucester Rugby Community Charity running vest

  • Two tickets to a Premiership Rugby Cup home game*

  • Training and support from a qualified coach

  • Fundraising advice and support via Facebook


*tickets are non-transferrable, date TBC

Registration fee – £25

Fundraising Target – £150

Places are limited and will be dealt with on a first come first served basis.  To secure your place please click HERE where you will be able to pay your £25 registration fee.

Once you have paid you will receive welcome information along with guidance on how to access our training plans, advice and support from our running coach.

The Gloucester Rugby Community Charity uses sport to enhance people’s lives with a particular focus on those with social and other disadvantages. In close collaboration with Gloucester Rugby, the charity is a force for positive change for the citizens of Gloucestershire and beyond, reaching people at key times in their lives to make a positive impact. Funded through donations, sponsorship and fundraising, the Charity provides opportunities for organisations and individuals to fulfil their community, charity and volunteering objectives.

All money raised will be put back into our community projects run across the county including our women and girls rugby programme, Gloucester Wheelchair Rugby Team, Mixed Ability Rugby, Walking Rugby and our Educational programmes.
