Polledri impresses as Italy beat Georgia in Florence
Jake Polledri was in action on the test match stage this weekend, helping Conor O’Shea’s Italy side to a 28-17 win over a spirited Georgia in Florence.

Italy outscored their visitors four tries to two and were in firm control of the contest in a fast paced and exciting game, with Azzurri fly-half Tommaso Allan contributing 13 points.

Michele Campagnaro scored first, with Mattia Bellini, Simone Ferrari and Allan crossing for the hosts, with Tamaz Mtchedlidze and a penalty try in response for the powerful Georgians.

Polledri, making his fourth test appearance for the Azzurri was a stand out in the back row for the home side, who now host Australia, before rounding off their Autumn against the All Blacks over the next fortnight.
