Press Notes | Skivington wary of Bristol Bears challenge
George Skivington knows that Bristol Bears pose a tough challenge on Friday night, as the Head Coach makes his Kingsholm bow.

Head Coach, Skivington, faced the media on Tuesday afternoon, ahead the West Country Derby on Friday night.

Jonny May -

"Jonny some he's going through the protocol. He didn't train today (Tuesday), he's got to go through with the medical team and I'll get a report at the end of the day and find out where he's at.

"He could turn it around and play, there's the time to do that but obviously there's certain measures that the physio and him will go through and tick off. I'm not 100% sure where he's at right now as we've just come off the park, but obviously we're planning around it, but he could turn it around."

Overall -

"There's your usual bangs and bruises and obviously the boys haven't played for however many months it is.  After you play on the artificial pitch there's a bit of recovery and rest and recuperation. But obviously, when you win those bangs tend to be a little less sore than they are when you lose, so they're in a good spot!"

"Bristol are top 4 team and there'll be pushing for the title this year. They're full of superstar players and they've got guys who can open the game up in the blink of an eye and I thought against Saracens, they were really well organised.

"Their set piece was very strong. They know they'll be better this week and, and then they'll they'll be looking forward to coming to us."
