Record Club Membership sales for 2018-19 season

Record Club Membership sales for 2018-19 season
The deadline for Gloucester Rugby Club Membership sales passed earlier this week and the club is delighted to confirm the highest number of memberships sold in the club’s history.

There has been an air of optimism around Kingsholm as Gloucester Rugby embark upon their second season with Johan Ackermann as Head Coach, and performances and results have reflected this.

And that positivity has also been felt by the club’s supporters who have snapped up more Club Memberships than ever before, a fact that has delighted CEO, Stephen Vaughan.

“We’ve always enjoyed terrific support and, over the past few months, our fans have backed us in greater numbers than ever before in terms of purchasing Club Memberships.

“Club memberships are a really important barometer of a club’s health and, as such, this is fantastic news and shows that our supporters are really backing us and we are very grateful for that.”

“We believe this is down to a variety of factors – the return of Heineken Champions Cup Rugby, an appreciation of the club’s approach to ticket pricing, new signings, a positive reaction to our investment in rebranding and ease of purchase.

“It shows real confidence in the direction that the club is heading and we are determined to reward this with our performances on the pitch.

“Off the pitch we will be continuing to invest in making the experience at Kingsholm as good as it can be and will continue to improve and innovate where we can.”

The Cherry and Whites are unbeaten so far in the Gallagher Premiership, winning two of their three matches to date, and currently sit in third place in the table.
