Gloucester Rugby is delighted to announce that Argentine international Santiago Carreras has agreed to extend his stay at Kingsholm.
The versatile puma joined the Cherry & Whites in January on a deal until the end of the season, however after a number of impressive performances for Gloucester Rugby, Carreras has put pen to paper on a new deal.
In his 6 appearances so far, Carreras has picked up two tries for the Club, after his brace in the West-Country derby with Bristol Bears.
Head Coach George Skivington is delighted the 8-cap Puma wants to stay at Kingsholm.
“Santi has come in and really hit the ground running for us. He’s really bought in to what we are trying to build as a Club and has fitted in seamlessly to the group. He’s hungry to play, and as you can see on the pitch, he’s not one to shy away from the action!
“Santi is a brave, young player with a big future in the game, so we are really pleased that he wants to forge a career here in Cherry & White.”
