Gloucester Rugby is pleased to confirm several of our Academy players have joined Hartpury RFC on loan for the 2021-22 season.
Cameron Jordan, Olly Adkins, Toby Venner, Josh Gray, Joe Howard, Ethan Hunt and Matty Jones will link up with the Championship side, and look set to play an integral part of Hartpury’s campaign.
Hartpury’s Director of Rugby, John Barnes, was pleased to welcome the seven youngsters.
“It’s great to have the Gloucester Rugby Academy players on board for this season.
“Many are current or former Hartpury students, so we are pleased we can support these players yet again in their rugby development. They’ve all trained extremely well this summer and are putting their hands up for selection in our pre-season matches.
“A big thank you to Gloucester Rugby and, in particular, George Skivington, Carl Hogg and Pete Walton for their continued support of our Championship progress.”
Head Coach, George Skivington, is delighted to cement the partnership with Hartpury RFC.
“We have a very strong relationship with Hartpury, and we are delighted that our Academy players will have the opportunity to train and play in the Championship this season.
“At this stage of their career, game time is crucial in their development and I know each player will be working extremely hard to get into those match-day squads.
“We look forward to seeing their progression with Hartpury RFC this season.”
