Supporter Information - What’s On At The Castres Olympique Game
The Heineken Champions Cup is back at Kingsholm Stadium this weekend, as the Cherry and Whites play host to French Top 14 Champions Castres Olympique on Sunday afternoon (KO 1pm) and there is plenty going on alongside the action.

Here is all you need to know if you’re coming to the game!

Tickets are selling well and still on sale from the Gloucester Rugby Ticket Office, the West Terrace is Sold Out, and Greene King Shed has limited availability.

Head to the Fanzone on Sunday afternoon where you will find the Facepainter, and we will have entertainment from Hollywood Bowl and their inflatable bowling alley.

Frightmare will previewing their upcoming seasonal events where you can have your picture taken with the Pumpkins - but watch out for the Zombies!

And we also have Gloucestershire NHS providing information on defibrillators and educating supporters on CPR.

Make sure you download the new Gloucester Rugby App and update to the latest version before you come to the stadium!

Benefit from super-fast stadium wifi, and access all of the great features, where you can vote for your Stowford Press Man of the Match, take the Half Time Quiz, and upload images into the Fan Gallery.

Pick up a copy of the matchday programme which this week will cost £3.50, from around the ground.

The programme includes an exclusive interview with hooker James Hanson, lots of news from around the club, and a look at our visitors from the Stade Pierre Fabre.

Head to the Shogun Bar at 12:15pm, where Andy Wyman will be interviewing Ed Slater and Ollie Thorley ahead of the game.

Supporters in the West Terrace are reminded to be ready at 12:40pm, where mini-balls will be thrown into the Terrace by Paddy McAllister and Gareth Denman ready for the ‘A-Plan Insurance Hit The Bar’ Challenge at Half Time.

At 12:50pm, supporters in the Stowford Press Stand are invited to keep an eye on the roving camera, and one lucky winner will win a pint of Stowford Press for their whole row!

Kingsholm Stadium gates open at 11am, and don’t forget there will be a Happy Hour in the bars from then until midday. Still £3-a-pint, and available on Heineken, Stowford Press, Greene King IPA and Guinness.

We are delighted to confirm the introduction of 2-pint cups! Head to the Gloucester Rugby bars to get yourself a 2-pinter and also try some of the new drinks on offer!

We have recently seen the introduction of 2-pint reusable cups. Please note there is a £2 deposit for these refundable when you hand the cup back.

The trial of Swipe Station at the end of last season was a success so the machines can still be found in Shogun and will be introduced into Lion’s Den before Christmas.

Supporters wishing to attend the game and take advantage of the Park and Ride service can use the EDF Energy Barnwood Service which runs as follows;

Pre-match 11am to 12:55pm, then post-match from approximately 2:45pm until the final bus at 4:30pm.

Important Notice. Please Note that the Tesco’s Park and Ride is no longer available on Gloucester Rugby Matchdays. Apologies for any inconvenience.

Looking for some musical entertainment? Head to the Shogun Bar post-match to hear from The Usual Suspects who will bring you a night of rock in the Shogun Bar. Covering music from the Stereophonics, Rag & Bone Man, The Beatles, The Kinks and The Jam these guys really know how to get the party started.

At the Busker’s Stage, music is provided by Adz King. In true busker style Adz and his guitar will strum their way through hit after hit. Promising a vibrant performance to remember!

Refreshments wise, there are plenty of options on offer around the stadium from Freeman’s Event Partners.

At Gate 1, take advantage of the Gourmet Burger Van, West Cornwall Pasty and Woodfired Pizza and Freshly ground Coffee & Crepes and in the Lions Den, head to the Lavazza Coffee cup

At Gate 2, head to the Gourmet Burger Unit, Brackhurst Gourmet Sausage and Lavazza Coffee, and at Gate 3, enjoy some Traditional Hog Roast. In the Shogun Bar, visit West Cornwall Pasty Bar.

Tickets are still selling well for the fixture, which is part of the 2018-19 Club Membership, and general sale tickets are available from the Gloucester Rugby Ticket Office which opens at 9am on Sunday morning.
