The return of Walking Rugby

The return of Walking Rugby
We are excited to announce that the Gloucester Rugby Foundation are now able to resume some of the sport inclusion activities from next week.

Gloucester Rugby Foundation have put procedures and policies in place to ensure participants and staff are safe. After a long 6 months of not playing, the RFU guidelines have confirmed a return to play procedure and are now working in stage D, meaning touch rugby can return.

Staff and participants have remained in contact during the pause in play and the future sessions will be adapted to ensure that they are COVID secure.  Changes include regular sanitisation breaks and reduced amount of touches made in the game.

Overall, Gloucester Rugby Foundation are really excited to make an impact in the community again so that together, we can reduce the rising levels of isolation and improve mental health and wellbeing during these tough times.
