Tim Taylor signs new deal with Gloucester Rugby
Gloucester Rugby is delighted to announce that Tim Taylor has signed a new contract to remain a key part of the coaching staff at Kingsholm.

Taylor will take on the role of Assistant Coach, with a focus on leading the transition between the Academy and the first team, as George Skivington looks to build his new-look coaching structure.

Taylor who has been a member of the coaching team for six seasons, joined the Cherry and Whites as a player from Nottingham in the spring of 2010, and went on to make 41 competitive appearances for the club, scoring 171 points.

George Skivington was pleased to secure Tim’s future with the Cherry & Whites:

“I am really pleased that Tim will continue to be an integral part of our coaching structure. We wanted to make sure that our structure moving forward ensured a smooth transition between the Academy and the first team, and with Tim working across both areas, this is a really positive move.

Tim is an excellent coach with a highly regarding stature in the game, his understanding of the Club and energy that he brings to the group will be vital moving forward.”

Chief Executive Officer, Lance Bradley, said:

“Tim has been with our Club for ten years as player and coach. His experience and skills will be invaluable in helping develop our youngsters and ensuring a seamless transition once they’re considered ready. It’s a signal of how seriously we’re now taking our Academy that a coach of Tim’s caliber will now be such a significant part of it.”
