Tom Seabrook looks forward to "massive honour" of Leicester start

Gloucester Rugby travel to Welford Road on Saturday and ahead of the fixture Tom Seabrook previewed the game against the top of the table side.

On the bye week

“It was brilliant. It was something that everyone really enjoyed and it brought a lot of excitement to the group. And it was a good chance for some team bonding as well.”

On Leicester Tigers

“It’s a massive honour and a massive opportunity and as a team we can’t wait to go there and face a really hostile crowd and be on the receiving end of what most teams get when they play here at Kingsholm.

“It’ll be a brutal day but it’s something that we’re all looking forward to.”

On Leicester’s recent form

“The focus is 100% on us. It’s respecting the challenge that we’re going to face but it’s trusting the processes and decision making that will get us over the line. It’s about mot worrying too much about the things that we can’t control, it’s just what we do as a 15 and a 23 on the day.”

On playing at Welford Road

“I actually had my first game there in the Premiership Cup away at Welford Road so I remember it well! It wasn’t too long ago.

“I can’t wait to go there again and get out there with the boys.”
