Gloucester Rugby travel to Coventry this afternoon for the final pre-season fixture and ahead of the match, we caught up with new recruit, Will Britton, who talked pre-season training, the game against Coventry and how he conquered the milk challenge!
On joining the club
"I'm really enjoying it. It's a great club and a great bunch of lads. They've all been welcoming to me and there's a great coaching staff and I'm really enjoying it so far."
The step up to Premiership level
"There is a big step up. I just think everyday is a challenge and everyday you have to be open to learning stuff and be ready to be tested each session. It's quite a young squad overall and everyone is pretty keen to learn and develop and that's got to be a good thing for us going forward this season."
On the Ealing games
"It was unbelievable. We had around 8000 people in the stadium and it was my first time running past the Shed which was nearly packed out and you can hear the passion of the fans and you can't replicate that and I'm excited to hopefully get a shot when it is full during the season."
"It's a young team going to Coventry and we know that the competition is tough in the team. Everyone there will be looking to stick their hands up to try and get themselves into a Premiership game further down the line."
On the milk challenge
"It's a mental test more than anything else. I hadn't done any practise, I promise! It was good fun. Just something that's obviously a tradition here and all the boys bought into it and the results are there to see!"
