George Skivington names side to face Ulster in the European Champions Cup

Gloucester Rugby host Ulster at Kingsholm in Round Two of the European Champions Cup.

George Skivington has named a much-changed Gloucester Rugby side to host Ulster this Saturday in the European Champions Cup.

The Head Coach has called upon some of the Cherry and Whites’ experienced players whilst a good number of the youngsters who impressed last time out have kept their places in the match day 23.

Val Rapava-Ruskin, Jack Singleton and Ciaran Knight make up the front row with Ed Slater and Matias Alemanno packing down at lock behind them. Jordy Reid and Ruan Ackermann return to the back row with Lewis Ludlow keeping the captaincy at openside flanker.

At scrum-half, Charlie Chapman is handed his first start of the season and will line up alongside Lloyd Evans who returns to the team at fly-half.

Mark Atkinson and Chris Harris link up in an experienced midfield with Louis Rees-Zammit returning from international duty to make up the back three with Charlie Sharples and Kyle Moyle.

Seb Nagle-Taylor and George Barton keep a place in the 23 after impressing last time out and make up a group of replacements which includes Toby Venner who will make his first appearance of the season when he comes on.
